Introduction簡介

2021-2024 is a brand new development cycle for the school. During this cycle, the school will focus on "Enhancing students’ self-directed learning skills through inquiry-based learning" and "Improving the resilience of students, teachers, and parents in the face of challenges by developing the ability to influence well-being and fostering positive emotions". This will be done by using different teaching methods and learning activities, taking care of students' learning and their mental health, physical and spiritual development".

2021-2024年度為本校新一個發展周期,學校將以「透過探究式學習提升學生自主學習的效能」、「發展可影響學生、教師及家長幸福的能力,培養其正面情緒,從而增加面對挑戰的復原能力」為新發展方向,透過不同的教學方法及學習活動,照顧學生的學習及健康的心身靈發展。

“Quality Education Fund:Building the Models of School-based STEM Curriculum and Self-directed Inquiry-based Learning” 「 QEF:建立校本STEM課程及自主探究學習模式」

The school is developing a school-based STEM curriculum, providing training for teachers and constructing STEAM learning facilities. This will be led by the General Studies coordinator.

透過優質教育基金撥款建立校本STEM課程、進行教師培訓及建造STEAM學習室。常識科科任與計劃顧問進行共同備課,選取適合拓展STEM教育的學習課題,引入探究學習元素,包括5E教學模式及系統化的自主學習策略等,作為發展校本STEM教育的特色,也利用分層課程,讓全部學生得到更全面而豐富的學習經歷。

Higher Order Thinking 思維教學
The school utilizes“13 Higher Order Thinking (HOT) Skills” and ‘4F reflection model’ in General Studies lessons. These skills will be promoted in other subjects step by step in order to broaden the scope of thinking of students and strengthen their higher order thinking ability. 配合常識科課題,引入高層次思維十三式及4F反思,逐步於各科推展思維教學,以擴闊學生的思考領域,提升學生的思考層次。
Developing e-teaching to achieve effective learning 「發展電子教學,達至有效學習」

The school has purchased e-learning equipment and provided e-teaching training for teachers by using a variety of grants to enhance e-learning at school. The school also has BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) classes to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching and help students to prepare for the upcoming challenges.

學校利用經費購置電子學習設備,又為老師提供電子教學培訓,設有BYOD班,提升學與教的效能,準備學生迎接未來的挑戰。

Optimizing Life Education to establish the quality of life of students 「優化生命教育,建立學生生命素質」

The school has introduced experiential picture book teaching methods to nurture students’ positive values through drama education and biblical truths. By implementing specific practical services, the school can achieve the educational goal which integrates knowledge and intention to build a holistic life.

學校引入體驗式及繪本教學法,又運用戲劇教育,以聖經真理為基礎,建立學生正確價值觀,更透過具體實踐服務行動,達致知情意行合一的教育目標,從而建立整全的生命。
