Our Targets 總目標

The GS curriculum aims to enable students to: 常識科課程目標在於協助學生:

  1. Maintain healthy personal development and become confident, rational and responsible citizens.
    保持健康的個人發展,成為充滿自信、理性和富責任感的公民。
  2. Recognize their roles and responsibilities as members of the family and society and show concern for the common good.
    認識自己在家庭和社會所擔當的角色及應履行的責任,並關注本身的福祉。
  3. Develop a sense of national identity and be committed to contributing to the nation and the world.
    培養對國民身份的認同感,並致力貢獻國家和世界。
  4. Develop curiosity and interest in the natural world and technological world as well as understand the impact of science and technology on society.
    培養對自然及科技世界的興趣和好奇心,關心科學與科技發展對社會的影響。
  5. Develop care and concern for the environment and practice green living.
    關心及愛護周遭的環境,實踐綠色生活。

  • The school implements various diversified teaching activities to help students build knowledge and develop skills for inquiry-based learning and problem-solving activities.

  • Teachers use higher-order questions, transfer questions, and follow-up questions to raise students' cognition of things.
    教師以高層次的提問、轉問、追問來提升學生對事物的認知。
  • Teachers use "13 Higher Order Thinking (HOT) Skills" to enhance students' higher-order thinking skills.
    教授「思維十三式」促進學生高階思維能力。
  • Students engage in group activities to share and exchange their experiences, think and understand things from multiple perspectives. Students are encouraged to design methods to find the answers in order to enhance students' ability to accept and respect different opinions.
    讓學生進行分組活動,分享及交流經驗,從多角度思考及了解事物,並設計方法找出答案,促進學生學習接納及尊重不同意見。
  • Through analyzing and discussing life events, students can combine life education and interdisciplinary group learning in our school, so as to broaden their thinking and help them develop positive values and attitudes.
    學生透過分析及探討生活事件,結合本校的生命教育及跨科組學習,從而擴闊學生思考,並幫助學生建立正面的價值觀和態度。
